About VRC
An easier transition into civilian life for our American Heroes.
Mission: Ambition provides support services to Eisenhower's Veterans Reintegration Center (VRC). The VRC is a full-service Relocation, Rehabilitation & Reintegration program located on Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Harrison Township, Michigan. The VRC's presence on a federal installation allows us to offer Veterans a familiar "home away from home," significantly easing the transition between the military and civilian worlds. We are now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 residential cohorts.

How it works
A path to independence and self-fulfillment.
The VRC brings Veterans and their families to the base to live for a period of up to one year in renovated previous barracks and "apartment-like" suites. The Historic Officers Housing is also being renovated, which families will be able to transition into while in the program. Program participants have access to supportive counseling (individual, family and/or group), recreational therapies (art, music, pet, yoga therapies) and vocational education and training through a partnership with Macomb Community College and a Veteran-powered company, Zero Day.
